Never before have our homes been so important to us. Here’s how you can use natural fragrance around your home, to create the perfect environment in each room.
Over the past ten months, we’ve been at home more than ever before. Professional and personal boundaries have been blurred, make-shift offices have appeared on kitchen tables and sofas, and we’ve all needed some rest and relaxation to help us deal with new routines and the ongoing uncertainty.
Some of you may have been working extra hard and really need a safe and relaxing space at home to decompress. Others may need to switch the purpose of a room multiple times during the day. We’ve seen first hand just how powerful essential oils can be when trying to set the right atmosphere in any space. Here are our tips for harnessing the power of essential oils and transforming your space, even when things get difficult!
How do essential oils impact our mood?
Essential oils have been used throughout history to positively influence the way that we feel. When inhaled the molecules travel into the brain where they impact its emotional center of the brain, the amygdala. We love to scientifically validate the anecdotal evidence behind aromatherapy. So, whilst most of us know the calming effects of lavender, aromachology has led to the study of lavender’s physiological impact and why it has a calming influence.
Let us explain more..
